The South-Western most corner of the continent of Sylgrah is home to Aevon, a large port town which was built around Aevonspire. The town being so outreaching and accessible for the Western side of Sylgrah made it perfect for a trade rout for ships and maritime travel. Over the years of falling out from the borders of overgrown empires, it became it's own nation. The duke appointed themselves as king after years of lacking communication from the north. This sparked skirmishes and a siege against the spire from some of the loyalist lords just north. However with the design of the spire and its fortifications and seaside terrain making it too difficult to surround with an army, it stood uncaptured and was able to chase their attackers off after the retreat, and by planting Aevonspire men in the uniforms of their enemies, they were able to take a few of the lands just neighboring to the north, solidifying itself as the kingdom of Aevon.
A heavily fortified seaside castle where the first Lord of Aevon began with a tower, allowing him to take in the views and provide light to the ships. Though other lighthouses have been built on the rock islands since then, Aevonspire has stood as a beacon, its light still faintly visible even among the other more dedicated lighthouses. Due to its strategic point on rocky hill terrain, the seaside being walled and carefully distanced; the fortress surrounding the Spire has lasted without ever being taken by force in its lifetime. The only successful captures of Aevon were via coup, and even then most of the flag swaps were temporary due to the complexity of taking it over. It is regarded as one of the most well fortified locations in all Sylgrah.
Five swords were forged for the Admirals of Old Aevon when sailing the open seas became the objective of Aevon. With the diligance and through a series of events where detail was lost to Legend, the five swords were said to have been blessed by Numariador, Ocean and Sea and Sylvandir, Aria, Tsomn - Skies. Each sword was paired with a knife of matching make and design. The perfect cutlass and knife duo. It is unknown what were or if the blessings of Numariador did anything, but some say a true hearted holder of such weapons could receive the favor of the winds and tide. The current whereabouts of the swords are entirely unknown, only one Captain humbly mentioned his holding the last known set of sword and dagger. He however had fallen during the breach of the Undead in the War with Arkalas. The sword and knife is now presumed to be in the hands of the one known as RedMane.
